Knitted Folk

Knitted Folk are a neutral toned knitted wall art I have been working on. Each piece has been hand knitted on my recent trip to Dorset. Rya knots have been added to create a fringe, and these have been assembled to a piece of naturally sourced driftwood. Each one has a quirky detail of a feather, bead, Airdry clay charm, or embroidered flower each also includes a wrapped crystal. The crystals used in these are to bring good energy to the owner, and consist of a mixture of Rainbow fluorite, tourmaline, Jasper and rose Quartz. 
This particular piece had a Airdry clay disc complete with fern transfer, and a yellow Jasper crystal. Yellow Jasper is associated with a variety of healing properties. It is said to have mellow and calming energy and is believed to help people handle life challenges, teach the spiritual side of mundane work, protect against negativity, boredom, and resentment, as well as inspire creative ideas and action.
